The Planning Inspectorate today issue their decision to overturn Elmbridge Borough Council’s refusal for BWP’s scheme to replace one large detached house (outlined in red above) with two new detached properties in St George’s Road, Weybridge. The application was originally submitted to Elmbridge in February 2015 and the need to go to an Appeal resulted in the Council’s decision in May 2015 that the scheme was ‘out-of-character’ and ‘overbearing’; a decision robustly refuted by the Planning Inspectorate.
